Who we are

 We're an old-fashioned ice cream parlor & candy store. We make all our ice cream on the premises. Stop by today for what the Valley Advocate calls, "Arguably the best ice cream in the Valley."  Mt. Tom's is located in the heart of Easthampton, Massachusetts. We're nestled on the edge of beautiful Nashawannuck Pond, in the shadow of Mt. Tom. 

Mt. Tom's began in 2003 in the form of a brave, new adventure by an ex-engineer who traded in his cubicle for a batch freezer and a candy store.  What started as a casual breakfast conversation with Dad (retired ice cream maker extraordinaire), brought Jim, the owner and founder, to the cool, western Massachusetts town of Easthampton to start what has become a staple in this reinvented and thriving little city. Come grab a cone and relax on the beautiful new promonade which overlooks the pond & Mt. Tom, the shop's namesake.
